Most of the Camp WeHaKee summer happens outdoors, on Hunter Lake, on the trails, in the riding arena, at the archery range. That's the whole point of summer camp! So if you need to reach the Director Team while your daughter is in session, here's how to do it without getting lost in the shuffle.
Call the Camp Office
The main camp line is 608-787-8304. During summer sessions, someone is typically available to answer or return calls quickly (usually within the hour) rom 8am to 8pm daily.
If you reach voicemail, leave a message and mention that your daughter is currently at camp. This helps the office team prioritize your callback compared to other families whose session has ended or is coming up.
Email for Non-Urgent Questions
For anything that doesn't need an immediate response, email the office at officemanager@wehakeecampforgirls.com. Response times during the summer are generally quick.
One Important Thing
Please don't call multiple staff members trying to reach someone. Most of the team is outside with campers throughout the day, they're not in the office, and they don't have their phones on them. If everyone has a message waiting and no one knows if it's already been taken care of, we unnecessarily spend valuable time resources in our offices instead of directly supporting your camper. The office manager is the right point of contact, and she'll get you what you need.
Meet Cassie
In 2026, the person you'll be talking to is Cassie, joining WeHaKee for her 11th summer as Office Manager. She lives in Ohio, where she works as a school psychologist. She knows camp, she knows how parents think, and she has lots of practice making sure parents feel taken care of. If you call with a question or a worry, you're in good hands.
If Camp Needs to Reach You
If something comes up that requires us to contact you directly, like a health update, a logistics question, anything that needs a quick response, we'll reach out by phone, text, or email using the contact information on file from your registration. Make sure your information is current before your daughter's session starts.
