A Weekend Just for You: Mother-Daughter Weekend at WeHaKee

August 14 – 16, 2026

While we call it "Mother-Daughter Weekend," this special getaway is truly for any pair of women looking to spend some quality, uninterrupted time together. Over the years, we’ve been honored to welcome grandmothers and granddaughters, aunts and nieces, stepmoms, mentors, and sisters. If there’s a girl in your life who matters to you, and you’re looking for a place to simply be together, you belong here.

Whether your daughter’s a little one who loves the water or a teenager who needs a break from the busyness of home life, you’ll find that the magic of the woods makes conversation feel natural and easy. You don't need any previous camp experience to join us—whether you’ve been part of the WeHaKee family for generations or you're visiting for the very first time, we can’t wait to welcome you home.

What Your Weekend Looks Like

Your three days on the shores of Hunter Lake are designed to have a gentle, easy rhythm. You’ll stay in our cozy cabins and enjoy hearty meals in the dining hall, but the rest of the schedule’s really up to you!

Most pairs find their own groove quickly. You might spend the morning being active and the afternoon lounging by the water. The highlight for many families is our evening gathering at the Fire Circle. There’s something about the sound of a guitar and the glow of the embers that makes the world feel small and peaceful in the best way possible.

Choose Your Own Adventure

Almost all of our favorite summer activities are open for you to explore. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can head to the waterfront for:

  • Swimming, kayaking, and canoeing
  • Stand-up paddleboarding (our staff’s happy to help you find your balance!)
  • Waterskiing for a bit of a thrill

If you’d prefer to stay on dry land, you can try your hand at archery, go for a quiet morning hike through the pines, or spend an afternoon getting creative in the jewelry and art studio. Horseback riding’s also available as a special add-on! There’s no pressure to do everything—the goal’s simply to enjoy each other’s company.

Dates, Rates, and Registration

We want your weekend to be completely stress-free, so your registration’s all-inclusive. This covers your cabin, every meal, all activities and equipment, and our classic evening programs.

2026 Rates:

  • Adults (15 & older): $375
  • Youth (ages 5 through 15): $315
  • Children (under 5): Free

Space on the lake is limited and this weekend tends to fill up fast! You can save your spot at wehakee.campintouch.com or reach out to Stacie directly at info@wehakeecampforgirls.com or 608-787-8304.

If you’ve got questions about what to pack or what the cabins are like, just give us a call—we love talking camp. We’ll see you in August!
