A Note from Our Directors, Stacie Simpson and Cory Harrison:
Welcome to Camp WeHaKee 2026!
Since Cory and I stepped into our roles as Directors this year, we’ve spent much of our time simply listening and learning. We’ve been chatting with families, learning the daily rhythm of camp life, and reflecting on what truly makes WeHaKee a place girls want to return to year after year. Our biggest goal is to make sure we’re protecting the heart of the WeHaKee experience while finding thoughtful ways to make it even better.
When it comes down to it, the "magic" isn't all that complicated. It’s the mist on Hunter Lake at 7:00am, the warmth of the fire circle during Council Fire, and that incredible moment when a girl tries something she didn't think she could do—and then looks around with a beaming smile to see who caught her doing it. Our job isn't to reinvent those moments; it’s to make sure they’re here for every girl who joins us.
What’s New for 2026?
We’ve focused on making the "behind-the-scenes" part of camp as easy as possible for our families. You’ll notice clearer communication, faster responses, and this new resource hub where you can find everything you need in one spot. We’ve also refreshed a few of our program areas and welcomed some wonderful new faces to our team, alongside the returning counselors our campers already know and love.
Our 2026 Dates:
- Session 1: June 15 – 29
- Session 2: July 1 – 15
- Session 3: July 17 – 31
- Family Camp: August 9 – 13
- Mother-Daughter Weekend: August 14 – 16
What Stays the Same?
The short answer? The things that matter most. We still have nearly 40 activities to choose from, along with beloved traditions like Council Fire, Valley Time, and our Evening Gathering by the lake. Your daughters will still be cared for with our 4:1 counselor ratio and our resident nurses at "The Band Aid." And yes, parent emails will still be printed and delivered daily at Valley Time.
Above all, we’re keeping our century-old commitment to making sure every girl who walks through our gates feels like she truly belongs. We’re so glad your family is a part of this community.
