A note from our Directors, Stacie Simpson and Cory Harrison:
Welcome to Camp WeHaKee.
For more than 100 years, girls have come to our shore of Hunter Lake to find their wild and wonderful selves — swimming, riding, climbing, singing around Council Fire, and growing up alongside lifelong friends. Our job, as we step further into our roles as Directors, is to protect what makes that possible: the rhythm of camp, the people, the place, and the traditions that have shaped generations of WeHaKee girls.
The heart of camp doesn't change. It's the mist on Hunter Lake at 7:00am. The warmth of the fire circle during Council Fire. That incredible moment when a girl tries something she didn't think she could do — and then looks around with a beaming smile to see who caught her doing it. Our work is to make sure those moments keep happening for every girl who joins us.
What's open right now
Girls Camp and the Leadership Academy are fully enrolled for the current summer, but our family programs still have spots:
- Family Camp — August 9 to 13
- Mother-Daughter Weekend — August 14 to 16
Planning ahead for 2027
2027 dates, tuition, and enrollment details will be announced later this summer. Families on our interest list hear first.

What stays the same
Nearly 40 activities. Beloved traditions like Council Fire, Valley Time, and Evening Gathering by the lake. Our 4:1 counselor ratio and resident nurses at "The Band Aid." Letters from home printed and delivered daily at Valley Time. And our century-old commitment to making sure every girl who walks through our gates feels like she truly belongs.
We're so glad your family is here.
