Camp WeHaKee utilizes the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, for camper flight arrangements. The airpport code is MSP.
TO CAMP FLIGHTS:
Please schedule camper flights to arrive at MSP between 12:00noon & 3:00pm. This will allow ample time to arrive at camp before sunset providing the camper opportunities to settle in comfortably! Ground transportation is available and details are listed below.
FROM CAMP FLIGHTS:
Please schedule camper flights to depart MSP between 1:00pm & 4:00pm. This will allow ground transportation from camp to leave camp at a reasonable hour in the morning. Again, ground transportation is available and details are listed below.
REGARDING UNACCOMPANIED MINORS:
In order for Camp WeHaKee staff to accompany campers to or from their gates, parents of the camper must utilize the airline's unaccompanied minor program for all flights to and from MSP. There is generally a fee charged by the airline for this program. Please arrange for this prior to the camper's arrival at camp to ensure that Camp WeHaKee staff will be authorzied to go through airport security to meet the camper at her gate.

From Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP)

BUS service from/to the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) in Minnesota will be available on the opening and closing day of each session**.  This service is available for both those flying in/out of MSP and those from in or near the Twin Cities area choosing to use bus transportation to/from camp.  To ensure that space is available, campers should be registered for Bus Transportation at least two weeks prior to the start of their session.  Bus Transportation Fee is $140 each way (round trip is $280).

 

From Winnetka, River Forest, Milwaukee and Madison

BUS service from/to Winnetka or River Forest in Illinois, or from Milwaukee (Mitchell Park Domes) or Madison (near East Town) in Wisconsin will be available on the opening and closing day of each session**.  To ensure that space is available, campers should be registered for Bus Transportation at least two weeks prior to the start of their session.  Bus Transportation Fee is $140 each way (round trip is $280).

HORSEBACK RIDING:
$250 per 2 week session. Please pay this fee with registration fee payments

WATER SKIING:
$50 per 2 week session. Please pay this fee with registration fee payments.

BEDDING:
$50 for 2 weeks; $75 for 4 weeks; $95 for 6 weeks (for Internationals only, please). Bedding includes sleeping bag, pillow, pillow case, sheets, towel and wash cloth. Please pay this fee with registration fee payments.

LAUNDRY:
Optional laundry service is available and is provided on a weekly basis. The fee is $35 for two-week campers, $60 for 4 week campers and $85 for 6 week campers. Please pay this fee with registration fee payments.

*SESSION BREAK DAY TRIP (during session breaks):
Campers attending 4 week sessions will participate in a mid-session off-camp excursion where they will be able to shop, eat, and have fun. Four-week campers are encouraged to deposit an extra $20-$40 in their Trading Post Account to allow them spending money during this event. Campers attending 6 week sessions will participate in two off-camp excursions. Six-week campers are encouraged to deposit an extra $50-$70 for these events. They will be supervised by Camp WeHaKee staff at all times!
