Working and serving at Camp WeHaKee will simply be the greatest summer job you will ever have!! Counselors live in cabins with one other counselor and up to eight girls. During the daily activity periods counselors will provide leadership and instruction in one or more skill areas including swimming, sailing, canoeing, backpacking, english and western riding, gymnastics, art, tennis, team sports (volleyball, basketball, soccer, field hockey) archery, water skiing, and more.

Operated by the Dominicans of Sinsinawa, you can be a part of a tradition that has continued for over 87 years. As a Camp WeHaKee staff member, you will recieve valuable training in program, safety procedures and youth development. You will become a part of our closely knit and supportive staff team. You will help guide girls, ages 7-17, to challenge themselves and to make good choices all while having GREAT FUN and making new friends. It will be a challenging and at times exhausting job that you will cherish for a lifetime. Come join us as we Celebrate the Spirit on Hunter Lake in beautiful northern Wisconsin in 2010!
Since 1923, Camp WeHaKee continues today in the tradition of the Dominicans of Sinsinawa. The program at Camp WeHaKee is based on social justice principles and universal Gospel values. Each summer, several of the Dominican Sisters volunteer alongside our camp staff to help each girl realize her uniqueness as an individual person while understanding and striving to reach her own potential. Living among girls from diverse religions, cultures, races and economic backgrounds, allows each girl to grow and develop in an atmosphere of acceptance and encouragement. Girls of all faiths and spiritual backgrounds have always been welcome at Camp WeHaKee!
Located at the base of the pristine Chequamagon National Forest along the shores of Hunter Lake, Camp WeHaKee is noted for a wide array of quality activities where each girl creates her own individual program based on her choices. Camp WeHaKee campers will develop skills and make life-long friendships while thriving in a positive and supportive community all while having GREAT FUN!
