Maggie & Bob Braun

Maggie & Bob are honored to serve the families and the girls at Camp WeHaKee. With two school-age daughters of their own, they understand the importance of a quality, safe and nurturing camping experience for girls.

Between them, they bring over 50 years experience in child and youth development in camp and educational settings.   Maggie spent several years professionally with the Girl Scouts, directing camp, managing properties and most recently as the Chief Operating Officer for the St. Croix Valley Girl Scout Council in St. Paul, Minnesota. Bob received his graduate degree (MSE) in school and developmental counseling. Prior to working as a school counselor he spent several years teaching instrumental music at all levels. They are both actively involved in the American Camp Association (ACA) serving on regional and national boards, as educational presenters at the regional and national levels, and leading ACA accreditation visits. They enjoy bicycling, hiking, swimming, music (of all sorts!), running, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, tennis and most importantly, spending time with their daughters – much like each of you!
